Example 3 – Creation of new Kitchen, Dining and Lounge area.

Pignon Gascon was delighted to work closely with the owners, to renovate the kitchen and living space of this “Maison du Maître”.

Following the re-roofing work, which involved recovering the existing timber frame with salvage canal tiles, 3 large new interior openings were created, to enhance the feeling of space and light and give a more modern aspect. A variety of methods were used to create 3 individual doorways, which include a beautiful arch leading from the principal entrance.

Under-floor heating was installed throughout; floors were then laid with stone and terracotta tiling. Finally a bespoke oak kitchen, designed to the owners exact specification, was installed, within budget and on time.
